Yay!

Yippie! I am so exsighted to get my package.

I just ordered the limited addition chocolate AppleCheeks cloth diaper. We sell these in town, they just don't have the limited addition ones.. So I was so happy to find a Canadian website that takes Paypal that had this diaper in my son's size!
I also bought "Kaley's soap nuts" detergent. We don't have any cloth diaper friendly soaps in my town (that I know of), so I hope that these work well. :)

I bought all of these from a site called Tiny TreeHugger, cute site.. And Canadian! Right now five percent profit of anything you buy goes toward the Haiti relief fund. How amazing is that!

I just cannot wait to get this package! I am going to squeal for joy to open it!

Whoo!

Apparently those Dolls I made (my post below) are a huge hit with the kids!
Not only does my Nephew adore his doll, but his friend liked it so much that he stole it from him. Very funny, but don't worry he got his doll back.

Anyways, onto a new topic. :)
My boyfriend and I are going to be cloth diapering our son, eleven months late... But later is better than never! I am so excited.. We bought our first diaper a little while ago, it was an Apple cheeks mini test kit. So it came with one all in one cover and three inserts. The best thing about this cloth diaper is that you can put the liners into the diaper (it's pocket) or just lay it inside.. And no matter what you do you do not need to remove the liner from the pocket, you can just place it into the washer as is and it will come out by itself. Wonderful! No sticking my hands into wet diapers.. That's great!

If you want to know more about cloth diapers and Apple cheeks in general this blog has a lot of great information on it.

Solemn Dollie

This is a product I have made.. The photo is bad quality because I need a new camera.. haha!

Anyways.. It is called "Solemn Dollie".. This one is my boy pattern, I am still working on the girl pattern. This set is made out of a very soft yellow fabric and has hand embroidered blue eyes and mouth (mouth is done in black thread)..

This is my very first time doing anything like this.. I have never hand embroidered anything and I am VERY happy with how it came out.

I think in the future I will make clothes to fit these dollies and sell those as well.. Every doll is only five dollars and I plan on doing free shipping to those in British Columbia, Canada. :)

You can find them, among other things, in my shop at Zibbet.. http://www.zibbet.com/midnightmystic/

Any suggestions to what colors you would like to see for the next set of dolls would be appreciated. I was thinking of doing pink or brown. :)

Right now Zibbet is having a sale on their premium accounts.. Seven dollars a month! Normaly they are quite a bit more than this.. And if you sign up for the seven dollars a month right now it never runs out! It will be like that forever. Awesome huh?
