Stupid Work...

So, I got a call from my job today saying that they were closing my department down most the week (I can't remember what days I kind of dazed out in shock when I heard the word "close"). So for me this means next week im only getting seven hours.. I thought eighteen hours this week was bad.. How am I supposed to support my family? This is stupid, with seven hours a week I wont even be able to make rent..
My boyfriend is really trying to get a job, but there just isn't much work in town and all the jobs you can get are part-time and all the high school kids are filling those for the summer.

I'm so stressed out I just want to cry.. Why is this happening? Don't they even care about our department and those working in it? What kind of person do you have to be to cut back so many hours that your employees cannot even make rent or feed their family? It's ridicules.

Updates

Well, I finally ordered a toybox from online. I LOOVE IT.. I cannot wait to get it.. I hope it doesn't take to long. :)

Annnnd... I am making a bed set for my son. I will be sure to post pictures of it when I finish. Who knows how long that will take! HA
Anyways, it's going to have a blanket, three matching sheets (we all know how many sheets babies go through), a pillow case and a bumper pad. I know people have issues with bumper pads and I have thought about the problems.. But my son is over a year old now.. Not only that but since he could move in his crib by himself he has been pushing himself to the top of his crib and pressing his head against the railing. This worries me because I hate to think he's uncomfortable. Also, he always gets his arms and legs caught in between the bars or lets them hang out and one of our kittens likes to play and ends up waking him up by attacking his arm. So, I think I will take the chance and put a bumper pad in.. If I see any problems with it though I would be more than happy to take it out I just think it's in his best interest to have one.
Oh, and one more thing.. some people say that it helps kids climb out of their cribs.. HA, funny.. Not with our crib.. It's lowered to the lowest setting on the crib and even if there were a bumper pad in there he still wouldn't be able to reach chest level on the top rail.. So, im pretty sure we are safe. It's a super deep crib and he wont be able to climb out until we need to change it to a day bed anyways.

I finally got a new fish tank.. The old one I had, I have had since I was eleven.. I am almost twenty now.. It was so out of date and things needed to be replaced, so I just got a new one.
Anyways, when I was finally able to get fish (went to the store TWICE and both times the ladies there told me I needed something else for my tank before I was able to get fish or else they could get sick and die) the next day I couldn't find one of them.. So I left it, shrugged it off and went out for a few hours.. When I got home I couldn't find the other one! (We only bought two albino sharks and two frogs because the lady said that I shouldn't put to many fish in at once and the other one I wanted was being treated for "Ick" so I was ok with waiting).. I looked, on a hunch, behind my tank and WAH-LAH! There were my two albino-20-dollar-fish (ten bucks a piece) all dried up. Luckily, the lady at the store said that they have a one week refund system on their fish. She told me when I got them if they die (she didn't say how) I bring back the bodies and the receipt and I get new fish. I better get some new fish. I don't really understand how they jumped out, I have a lid on my tank.. So, my boyfriend and I think that they got out through the small opening that the filter is in.. Just to make sure no more new fish ever jump out that way I cut up some cardboard and taped them over the two small openings at the back. I will not lose anymore fish, dammit!!!
