Lunch Today

Skyler's lunch today was left over spaghetti.. I shredded carrots and I also pureed beans into the sauce.. but.. I didn't add enough tomato sauce into it and all you can taste and smell is beans.. It tasted Horrible. Skyler was the ONLY one who would eat it when I first made it.
To make it taste a little better for lunch I added some more sauce (without beans) on top and some shredded cheese on top before I nuked it. Mixed it all together and he seemed to enjoy it just fine.
This has been Another meat free lunch. He doesn't seem to mind and the beans add some protein to the otherwise bland spaghetti.

Lunch Today

(Only now do I realize my spelling mistakes.. haha!)

Apple wedges (no special tools used, just a knife) with peanut butter spread on top! How freaking yummy does that sound? Obviously it was a big hit and Skyler just kept saying "Mmmm..." "Yummy!" and so on. He was super happy.
As for the veggies I just cooked up some of the mixed frozen veggies in the freezer. You could use any kind your child likes or even left overs.
Now, im sure I have seen the apples and peanut butter thing Somewhere on the internet.. Of course it was a long time ago and I no longer know where from. So I apologize for that.

Package!

When I received notice that there was a package at the post office for me I was confused.
I didn't order anything..

I got to the post office and the moment I saw the stamp on the outside I new who it was from. It's from my Auntie!

She had sent me some Paperless Paper towels. She had told me she was sending them, I just completely forgot. They are awesome, so cute and they snap together!

Made my day. Thank you Auntie!

Check out her other creations on her webpage. She makes these and other thing like.. Dog clothes, bags, shirts and more!

My to-do list in the New Year.

The New Year is here and I would like to take this time to re-evaluate my life and make some tweaks to start living better!

1) Cut out more artificial food colors from my diet.*
2) Learn how to make natural food colors.*
3) Sneak healthier stuff into our everyday foods!*
4) Learn how to make my own pasta sauce.
5) Get rid of all our old baby stuff (clear out the clutter!).
6) Buy less pre-packaged foods.
7) Buy more organic/local foods.
8) Take time for me and take care of myself more often. (Includes blogging more!)

I might add more to this later. :)

*1-3 can all be accomplished by following this persons example!
